Job Description

This key back of house role makes sure glassware, utensils, plates, pots and pans are spick and span. Successful individuals are detail-oriented, able to stand on their feet for long periods of time and eager to grow in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Wash all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware and cooking equipment in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and refrigeration
• Lead weekly deep cleaning processes 
• Help train new dishwashers
• Operate the dish machine fluently including changing chemicals, taking apart and cleaning
• Empty and clean garbage cans in the kitchen

Requirements

• Restaurant experience is a plus
• Works well with others
• Values quality, consistency and cleanliness
• Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours and lift at least 50 pounds

• Receive and restock inventory

• Ability to operate necessary equipment including coffee makers, grinders and espresso machine

• 1+ yr Barista experience
• POS system knowledge
